1. Company Guard Forces
This includes securty guards recruited and employed
by the company. Those that have been hired wili be in the
company payroll and are usually entitled to the same benefits
received by other employees

by scheduled visits of uniformed supervisors and other agency

TYPES OF SECURITY GUARD TRAINING
1.PRE-LICENSING TRAINING COURSE (NC-1)
The pre-licensing tralning course is designed for Individuals who had no previous formal security training or
License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) and aspire to be a security guard. This course introduces the
tralnee to the security services industry, its basic laws and regulations, as well as, what it takes to be a security
professional. This course is complete with the necessary and correct modules to equip any legal individual to be
a qualified security professional.
2.Refresher Training Programs.
RTC- (REFRESHER TRAINING COURSE) -
Also known as SECURITY SERVICES NC II
is designed to enhanced the knowledge,
skills and attitudes of a licensed security
guard in the field of security servicing in
profession. It includes, but is not limited to the Basic Security
Guard Course, the Security Officers Training Course, Private
Security Agency Operators Training/Seminar, Private Security
3. Specialized Training Programs. This shall refer to training
program and courses other than those described in the preceding
categories designed at developing previously-gained skills and
knowledge, designed at augmenting or expanding current
skills and knowledge, and/or designed at developing current
skills and knowledge to suit identified future applications. It
includes but is not limited to such courses as the Intelligence/
Investigator Training Course, Basic Crises Management Course,
Personal/VIP Security Training Course, Armoured Car Crew
Training Course, Bomb Disposal Training Course, Bank Security
Training Course and Basic Aviation Security Specialist Course.

1. Physical Security -
A significant part of security is concerned with the
physical measures designed to safeguard the personnel in
order to-prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities,
materials, documents, and to protect them from espionage,
sabotage, damage or theft.
2.Document and Information Security
This is the sum total of all policies, regulations, doctrines,
practices, that are being enforced to safeguard the contents
and integrity of any classified information or document from
compromise or loss.
Example:
a. Policy -
The security of document and information is
the responsibility of all concerned.
b. Regulation -
Anybody found guilty of violating document
and information security shall be dealt with
accordingly.
3.Personnel Security
This is the sum total of all procedures followed, inquiries
conducted, and criteria applied, to suitably determine the work of
a particular employee, an applicant or the retention or transfer of a
particular employee.
